Aakash has competition and it's called Attitude Daksha


The Indian market in the recent past has witnessed the launch of a range of budget tablets and a trend seen amongst all of them is with a new product launch, the price appears to be dropping further. The latest addition to this budget segment of tablets comes from Telmoco Development Labs Pvt. with the launch of the Attitude Daksha. As per a report by IBN Live, this tablet is designed to compete directly with the tablet backed by the Indian government, the Aakash.

The brand claims that this is the most powerful tablet featured in the 7-inch form factor and it is designed for students as well as professionals. The brand goes on to state the Attitude Daksha features powerful and reliable ARM Cortex 8 Dual core 1.5 GHz processor and accessed by capacitive 5 point multi touch true bright LCD screen. This 7-inch tablet also comes equipped with 512 MB DDR3 RAM, an HDMI port, Micro SD slot, 3.5 mm audio out, a Micro USB port as well as an OTG connector for adding a 3G dongle and a RJ45IAN cable. The report goes on to state,“Daksha is capable of 1080p full HD video streaming and has dedicated 400 MHzGPU for advanced flash Apps, Interactive Apps and full HD videos. Daksha is powered by 3,800 mAh li-Pol battery which gives a back up of over 6 hours with WiFi on.”

Speaking at the announcement of the Attitude Daksha, C.R. Nijesh, Chairman and Executive Director of Telmoco said, “Even though the Indian media tablets market witnessed high decibel launches by the world's leading vendors, the Tablet PC market in India is a niche market that is quickly picking up the pace in terms of adoption.”

This tablet is priced extremely competitively in the Indian market and it will be available at a price ofINR5,399 which includes taxes.
