BSNL Penta T-Pad WS802C Tablet launched

Pantel Technologies has launched India’s first 3G 8-inch tablet PC named BSNL Penta T-Pad WS802C. PTPL has a data tie-up with BSNL to provide a range of attractive data plans that cater to various customer profiles. The 8-inch WS802C Penta T-Pad comes pre-bundled with a 3G data plan of 2GB valid over a period of 60 days.

The BSNL Penta T-Pad WS802C is a portable tablet PC-TV that allows you to connect with the world through an in-built 3G SIM slot and Wi-Fi. The tablet comes pre-loaded with many games such as Angry Birds and Wow Fish, and applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Talking Tom, Google Maps, and Skype video calling and e-book facilities.

The BSNL Penta T-Pad WS802C runs on Android 4.0, and features a rich, high aspect ratio of 16:9, making for a great viewing experience and delivering TV quality visual imagery. The tablet features a generous 8-inch capacitive touch screen with intuitive controls. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB DDRII RAM for seamless performance. Built-in GPS ensures that you never lose your way on the streets. It lets you enjoy 1080P HD videos, photos, music and more on your TV via HDMI.

Pantel Technologies has already tasted success in Indian markets. Earlier this year, Pantel had launched three tablets in partnership with BSNL with much success. The BSNL T-Pad IS701R and BSNL T-Pad WS704C are 7-inch tablets with a price tag of Rs. 3,250 and Rs. 10,999 respectively, whereas the 8-inch BSNL T-Pad WS802C sells at Rs.13,500. The tablets had received a lot of appreciation from the masses and managed to get over 1 lakh pre-order bookings.
